100% silk woven neckties:

   The anatomy of a woven tie, is different than a printed tie.  Woven ties are

actually made from color dyed, silk yarn.  The pattern is a heavy weave which

is spun by our multi-million dollar equipment.  The resultant texture, amazes our

clients and the quality is unsurpassed.  A very important distinguishing feature is

that the ties are not embroidered which is taking a pre-made tie and then stitching

a logo or text.  Instead the ties, are actually sewn from pre-made woven swatches.

100% silk printed ties

    Our 100% silk printed ties are made using silk screen technology.  We build

a separate screen for each color.  This process lends itself to capturing many

color gradients and high detail.  Although it is extremely detailed, it does not

capture photo-quality image detail.  There are ways to accomplish absolute

photo quality which involve the use of polyester fabric and we only use silk.

    Our printing process can be accomplished on a multitude of textured silks.

We offer a satin finish which is flat, a twill texture which can be oriented horizontally

or diagonally, and a herringbone jacquard texture.  If you have a swatch of silk

that you would like us to reproduce the texture of, we can also copy what you have.

100% silk printed scarves

   Our scarves are manufactured in the same method as our printed neckties.  Scarves

cannot be woven, given that only one side of the woven silk displays the desired image.

There are two types of designs for scarves.  In the first, the pattern on the scarf runs

all the way up to the hem.  In the second, we place a solid color border around the pattern.

For oblong scarves this is done at each end.  Then, most of our clients, like to have

a name or website screened inside this border.  This way, we can avoid using labels that

might irritate the neck of those wearing the scarves.
